It doesn’t take very long…
It’s amazing how a few little adjustments can make a small room feel bigger. When shelves and counter tops get bombarded with clutter, it makes the room feel a lot smaller and (let’s face it) dirtier. Clearing clutter and organizing shelves can make a huge difference when arranging things in your bathroom. Here’s what I did to organize our upstairs bathroom.
Upstairs Bathroom Organizing
Now our bathroom is nice and organized. It took almost no time at all and it feels so much better when you walk in.
I think it’s much better now that there isn’t any clutter.
All I kept were toothbrushes and toothpaste, soap, and facial wipes.
At Walmart, I also bought a Soft Soap dispenser, along with a bottle for refills.
Next, I cleared off the counter top completely and gave it a good cleaning. I really wanted to minimize clutter.
Now the shelves are nice and neat! (And organized)
The basked fit rather nicely, so when it gets full all I have to do is bring it down to the larger laundry basket in the laundry room.
I found a basket at Walmart that I hoped would fit.
Next, I needed to find a way to hide the small amount of dirty clothes that were just tossed on the bottom shelf.
I washed the facecloths, folded them neatly, and placed them on the second shelf along with a few rolls of toilette paper.
Next, I found a bundle of facecloths at Walmart that were on sale.
I placed in all on the first shelf, along with the products that we use on a daily basis.
Plus, a little box to put random things.
And yet another glass to put hair elastics, hair pins, etc.
I found another glass to put Q-Tips.
Next, I found a box to put my boyfriend’s Beard Trimmer accessories.
Then, I placed the basked on top so I’d have easy access.
And topped it all off by added my hairbrushes and combs.
I added hair products around the glass
Put makeup and little brushes in the glass to keep things together…
I put that glass in the basket…
I also found a random, small glass that we never use.
Next, I found a basket.
I have to say, this is a great way to create space.
First, I got a hook to stick on the side of the bookcase to hang the hairdryer.
Also, the counter seemed to have a lot of random things on it. Definitely time for some organization.
The shelves in my bathroom were getting way out of hand. Brushes all over the place and makeup everywhere!
See you tomorrow morning!
